About Us

Good Wheels is the finest people transportation company in Southwest Florida. Good Wheels, Inc. was founded in June of 1990 as a not-for-profit corporation to meet the transportation needs of the disabled, disadvantaged and elderly in Lee County. We have served the community for years as the state-designated Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) and the major transportation provider for the Transportation Disadvantaged in Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties. In this capacity, we provide special-needs transportation to our elderly, disabled and less-fortunate neighbors.

As Lee County has grown dramatically, the need and demand has increased in all categories such as subscription services for the elderly and people with disabilities and has proliferated beyond the ability of public funding to fully cover those services. As a not-for-profit business, Good Wheels is working diligently to expand the ways and means of minimizing this gap between special-needs transportation requirements and what public funding allows. One way to increase our funding is through our advertising program, whereby, all proceeds are converted into client trips. By advertising your business on our paratransit vehicles, you will be participating in our mission to improve the quality of life for many in our community.
